Ya should have seen it coming!
Last years big hit 'Frozen' 2013
featured as one of the voice actors, Alan Tudyk (1971) as the Duke of Wesleton . . .
who co-starred in 2001's 'A Knight's Tale' (one of my favorite movies)
which also co-starred Paul Bethany (1971)
who took part in 2001's 'A Beautiful Mind'
which also featured the great Christopher Plummer (1929)
who we already know played Sherlock Holmes in 'Murder by Decree' (1979)
So, there you have it, there you are.
"Do you want to build a snowman?"
Of course you remember "Elementary's" version of the Baker Street Irregulars the hactivists "Everyone" force Miller, in payment for information, to don a dress and sing a number from the movie "Frozen". I happen to think that "Elementary's" version of the BSI is brilliant. To quote someone about another modern Sherlock: "But that show has always been talented at turning the Canon on its head and making one love the result." The hacker collective demanding payment from Sherlock, not in coin, but ritual humiliation is a great update and wonderful inversion of Holmes tossing Wiggins some shillings.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, but I am missing the connection.
DeleteSorry.
I'm sorry I wasn't clear in connecting Jonny Lee Miller (a Sherlock Holmes) to the movie "Frozen" in a single episode of "Elementary" because in payment for information "Everyone" required Sherlock to don a dress and sing a song from the movie "Frozen"--you will forgive me if I can't remember which episode fron season two it was.
ReplyDeleteI remember the scene but I guess I had note seen the movie yet and did not make the connection. Thanks!
