Seven Degrees of Sherlock Holmes #19 - Errol Flynn, no, Bela Lugosi, no, Jean Simmons. . . . .

I knew the first choice would probably turn out easy, and it did.
So I made another choice and it also turned out easy.
Third choice, not expected to be easy, also was.
So, . . . instead of picking another this week, I will give you three.

The sad and damaged Errol Flynn (1909-1959)

starred in the great period film 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' - 1936

which also featured, lovable 'Dr. Watson' Nigel Bruce (1895-1953)

Well, that all came together to quick.
So here we go again.

Mr. Horror Movie himself, Bela Lugosi (1882-1956)

took part in what is sometimes called the worst movie ever, 'Plan 9 From Outer Space, 1959

which we already made a connection to HERE in our special BK edition of 'Seven Degrees'.

So, once more into the breach.

Jean Simmons, the beautiful, talented, Jean Simmons (1929-2010)

was in the wonderful film 'Young Bess' 1953

which also featured Stewart Granger (1913-1993)

who played Sherlock Holmes in the 1972 film 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.

Three for the price of one.
So there you have it, there you are.

    1. I love the title card, but do not know if it's Hammer or the Stewart Granger one.
      Will try to find out.
